About me

From the Service Industry to Digital Analytics

After spending years in the service industry, working as a Head Chef, managing food and beverage on international flights with Etihad Airways, and coaching clients as a Health Coach, I was ready to try something new. My curiosity for technology and problem-solving pointed me toward digital analytics, and in 2021 I enrolled in the Digital Analytics Specialist program at IHM Business School in Malmö. I graduated in June 2023 and received the Best Thesis Award for that year's cohort.

Building Expertise at IIH Nordic and DFDS

Eight months into my studies, I joined IIH Nordic in Copenhagen as a student worker and moved into a full-time Digital Analytics Engineer role by fall 2022. Over two years there, I built solid expertise in technical tracking implementations, server-side Google Tag Manager, JavaScript, and consent management platforms. I also delivered GA4 training for clients and taught Advanced Analytics and Tag Management at IHM Business School.

In July 2024, I joined DFDS as a Senior MarTech Engineer, working within the Technology and Innovation department. My focus is on the company's data and marketing technology stack: collecting data through Google Tag Manager, managing a CDP, building data pipelines, and transforming data with Dataform and BigQuery to give marketing teams cleaner, more reliable insights.

Contributing to the Analytics Community

Outside of work, I co-founded Women in Data & Analytics - Nordics, a community built to support and empower women in the data and analytics space. The goal is straightforward: better networking, more visibility, and a stronger professional community for women in our field. I am also one of the organisers of MeasureCamp Malmö, which launched in January 2024, bringing together analytics professionals from across the region for a day of open, peer-led sessions.
